It gives me great pleasure to share my journey and accomplishments with all of you. My name is Mst. Shivam Vilas Gaikwad, and successfully completed my studies from St. Xavier's High School, Nashik Road in 2017. I am in my final year of Computer Engineering at K.K. Wagh College of Engineering Education and Research, where I have been pursuing my passion for technology and research.
One of the highlights of my academic career is the development of a ground-breaking project titled "Real Time Sign Language Translation using Microsoft XBOX Kinect Sensor." By leveraging the capabilities of the Microsoft XBOX Kinect Sensor, I created a system that translates sign language gestures into spoken words in real-time. It also converts the speech into corresponding sign language. The aim was to empower individuals with hearing impairments and provide seamless integration into a hearing-centric world. I am truly honored that this project has been recognized and published in the esteemed International Journal of Creative Research Thoughts. Additionally, I am thrilled to share that my project is currently in the scrutiny stage of copyright with the government.
Beyond my work in assistive technology, I have also developed a keen interest in optimizing antennas using the powerful Python programming language. My project titled "Design of Circular Microstrip Antenna using Python" has been published in the renowned IEEE Bombay Section, further validating my expertise in antenna optimization. Moreover, I had the privilege of presenting my research on "Resonant Frequency Calculation of Hexagonal Microstrip Antenna using Python" at the National Conference on Recent Trends in Communication, Computing, and IoT in 2022.
